BORN IN FRANCE IN 1963, FAMED SHOE DESIGNER CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN was iNSPIRED BY A TRIP TO A MUSEUM where HE SAW A SIGN SAYING THAT HIGH HEELS WERE NOT PERMITTED, LEAVING LOUBOUTIN IN TOTAL FASCINATION OF NEVER HAVING SEEN SHOES LIKE THAT BEFORE. AT AGE 16, HE BEGAN WORKING FOR SHOE DESIGNER CHARLES JOURDAN, LEARNING THE SHOE BUSINESS. IN THE EARLY 1990S, LOUBOUTIN LAUNCHED HIS OWN LINE OF DESIGNER SHOES, ADDED HIS LEGENDARY SIGNATURE RED SOLES to mens shoes. THE RED SOLE WAS SOUGHT AFTER BY HIS male CUSTOMERS AND HE DECIDED NOT TO STOP. HIS ARTISTIC SHOES SOON ATTRACTED well known celebrities with such styles as the pik boat and spike roller boat sneakers for men, designed especially for the artistic yet sophisticated man.
