The Model 523 Tabouret Stools by Charlotte Perriand got their name from the Méribel chalet in France, where Perriand had a house and where she reinterpreted the local architecture over the years. The "cut-finished" legs and use of solid wood convey a pleasant sense of softness and a depth of surface that trace infinite authentic variations on each piece.
