NATE LOWMAN x JUST ONE EYE PARIS EVENT
For our latest collaboration, which premiered in October 2013, Just One Eye proposed to New York based artist Nate Lowman to make a custom version of the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor ’70 sneaker.
Lowman flew to Just One Eye in Los Angeles where, led by a local shoe cobbler, he carefully deconstructed two of his canvases (valused at $700,000) to create 21 pairs of shoes. One of these original unique pairs was chosen by Nate Lowman to be digitally reprinted for a limited run of 500, for $110 exclusively at Just One Eye, Justoneeye.com, and Collette, Paris.
The collection premiered in October, 2013 at an event in Paris produced by Bureau Betak and featuring an exclusive short film by acclaimed director Joe Pytka.
A short film about the project by director and filmmaker Joe Pytka was also screened at the event. Watch it here:
