Ron Arad / Fauteuil 'Sit', 1990

Created by Israeli artist Ron Arad and entitled Fauteuil 'Sit', this sculptural chair was made in 1990 and is number 18, in a limited edition of 20. Constructed of hammered and patinated steel, this incredible piece is beautifully detailed and features the signature of the artist on the right side of the chair. Known for his deeply imaginative but functional designs and his affinity for the avant-garde, Arad's work is inspired by the cross pollination of art, sculpture, architecture, and design. Approximately 37 inches in height, 24 inches in length and 45 inches in depth.
