Diamond Oak Earrings

In Baltic tales there is an underlying theme of a talismanic comb, a magic amulet to fight off the wicked. In these legends, if the protagonist is chased by a witch, he drops a tiny comb pendant over his shoulder and a forest rises up where the comb drops. The vicious become trapped forever amid the trees. Magic combs actually existed and people carried them as protection and good luck. Drawing on this ancient myth for inspiration and playing upon the abstracted shape of a comb, with it’s spikes and edges, June Nineteen re-imagined the comb story into a modern folk melody. These Oak earrings are crafted from sterling silver and feature 0.48 carats of white black diamonds. Setting part is oxidized.
